My own expeirence.
I am playing this virtual game this time around. I find to be interesting concept. Its good system where you can practice some paper trades (before you blow some real money up). We are 2 months into it and the national leader has converted his virtual $50000 to $66000 odd.
There are a few things that I didnt like in the system though. You are fairly limited in what you can do. You can only trade in the top 100 companies. You can only allocate 1/4th of your portfolio to one stock (I guess enforced diversification is not a bad thing). The system does not seem to have provision for stop losses either.
The winning tactic is general swing trades which requires very active monitoring of the markets (for which I dont have any time at the moment).
